Joel & Abbie - Geoffrey's Couples Success Stories

"Our story began in high-school where we met and were sweethearts. After high-school we stayed in touch and remained friends, always being there for each other for birthdays or special events. After we both went though some unhappy relationships we rekindled our friendship and started spending more time together.

Gradually we realized that we had something that was more then friendship and wanted to explore it. Once we did, our romance blossomed and I knew she was the one to spend the rest of my life with. Everything seemed so effortless with her and just being around each other made our lives better.

We came in shopping at Geoffreys to do some ring shopping and were  helped by Jeff and his wife. They treated us so well, taking notes, comparing various styles until we found the perfect one. I knew this was where I was going to get the ring from. Once the ring was secured I finalized plans for the proposal. Abbie and I always stop at Spanish Bay Beach along the 17 mile drive for picnic lunches whenever we are in the area so in order not to arouse suspicion I kept this the same. Little did she know that both of our parents, as well as our closest friends were waiting along the beach to share in our special moment. After lunch I took Abbie for a walk along the beach to a rock outcropping and led her up to the top. After a few moments of her enjoying herself I turned her around to myself on one knee and asked her to marry me and spend the rest of our lives together. She said yes and our friends and family were able to come down to share in our moment together."
